What is Hometown Community Showcase?

HCS is a Lehi-based platform connecting you with local, independently owned businesses, through a small business directory and community events calendar, making it easier to support local small businesses.

How do I find local businesses?

Browse Star Charts (Business directory) to search by category, or check out the Shooting Stars (Business Promos) to see which businesses are offering discounts for their services. The Stargazing community calendar will list all of the events the city and small businesses are available for the public to attend and all of the relevant information about those events.

How do I see what is happening in the community?

Check out the Stargazing events calendar for community events, markets, and business-hosted happenings and mark if you are interested in attending the event.

Do I need an account to browse or attend the events?

No, browsing and attending events is open to everyone and no resident account is required.

Is HCS only for Lehi?

Yes, for now HCS is making its debut in Lehi before expanding to other cities. When expansion happens, each city will be contained within their own pages, to make finding community related events and businesses a breeze.

What is the NorthStar Newsletter and how do I get it?

A monthly roundup of local community and business news and events, hosted on the website. It isn’t circulating yet, but you can still sign up and you can get an email or a text with what is happening each month.

What’s Meteor Shower?

Our yard sales, kids stands, and seasonal market listings are available to list in the directory, $10 for a 2 week listing (kids stands are free to post to help support and encourage our young entrepreneurs).
